Acrylics on wood panel, 24"x24" My work explores the interplay between shadow and color, the way luminous pigments assert themselves through dark, dense fields. I am interested in surfaces that behave like records: accumulations of gestures, erasures and recoveries that suggest time, movement and weathered material. Process is integral to meaning. I build and obscure layers, then selectively reveal what lies beneath through scraping, sanding and glazing. Texture functions as a score of action — areas of compression and release, line and smear, controlled interventions and accidental events — all organized to heighten contrast and depth. Across the body of work recurring elements — horizontal fields, sudden color intrusions, dense textured planes — present a sustained dialogue between containment and eruption. #Tharmoon20 #AbstractArt #ContemporaryArt #TexturedArt #MixedMedia #AbstractPainting #ModernInteriors #WallArt #OriginalArt #ArtCollectors #InteriorDesign
