Acrylic on stretched canvas, 12"x24" I am compelled by the tension between form and flux. My practice presents washes of saturated color alongside carved, scraped, or fissured passages that suggest figures, memory, or worn architecture without naming them. I draw energy from post-war abstraction and expressionist approaches to color and gesture, from the weathered patina of urban walls, and from improvised rhythms in music.
